		<description>I have now a working solution. It consists of using substring and indexOf as operators to get back the desired substring after the decimal point. :)</description>

thanks for your post. I must say... Jasper is indeed barely usable having a documentation about 1% of its capabilities (otherwise a gread app though!). Well, once you figured out how it works. Your post was great showing me how to get the integer part from a decimal variable. But how do you get the cents from such a variable? I have to split the number into 2 fields, each containing the integer number of the original variable, so one before the decimal point and one after. Would you happen to have a trick for this?
