Trouble Bell?
I thought it was strange that the "trouble bell" was so small. If I had been the one to set this up, the trouble bell would be HUGE. While I was taking this photo, a movie theater employee came up to me and asked me if I was a "terrist".

Sitting on a Hilltop
Today I wanted to celebrate green. Right now, and for just a few fleeting weeks, the rain-steeped hills of California burst forth with intensely green baby grass, greener than green itself. Today I wanted to spend the entire day sitting on one of the countless rolling green hilltops in the east bay, and do nothing but enjoy the contrast between the incandescent green grass and the electric blue sky. So I did.

Monster Waves of Mavericks
Once a year, and only for a week, some of the worlds largest waves form just past this rock at Mavericks near Half Moon Bay. When this happens, professional surfers from around the world fly in on short notice for a big-wave competition. Waves have been recorded to break as high as 90ft.
